It sounds crazy, but in botanical science, bananas are classified as berries, while strawberries are not true berries. Nature clearly does not care about our supermarket categories.

4. A day on Venus is longer than a year on Venus
Venus spins so slowly that one rotation takes about 243 Earth days, while it orbits the Sun in about 225 Earth days. So on Venus, a day is longer than a year!
5. Some fish can “walk” on land
The mudskipper is a fish that can walk on land using its fins. It can also breathe through its skin and the inside of its mouth when it is out of water.

In Africa, there is a point called Kazungula where the borders of Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia meet very closely. With just a few small steps, you can move between four different countries.
11. The world’s quietest room can drive people crazy
There is a special soundproof room in the United States called an anechoic chamber. It is so quiet that you can hear your own heartbeat and the blood moving in your body. Most people can’t stay inside for more than a few minutes.
12. In Switzerland, it’s illegal to own just one guinea pig
